Wauneta George

    Services for Wauneta Ann "Rusty" George, 50, of Nampa, who died Friday, May 30, at her home of natural causes, will be conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday, at the Alsip Funeral Chapel, Nampa.
    The Rev. Duane C. Palser, pastor of the Nampa First Assembly of God Church, will officiate. Private family burial will follow in the Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Caldwell.
    Mrs. George was born on Oct, 19, 1935, in Nebraska City, Neb., to John and Stella Durr. She was reared and educated in Nebraska City.
    She married Leonard Eugene "Len" George on June 10, 1954, in Nebraska City. She and Len, who was in the United States Marine Corps, lived in several Pacific coastal cities.  They also lived in Tokyo for two years.  They moved to Nampa in 1979 where they have since resided.
    She is survived by her husband of Nampa; a daughter, Cheryl Vargas of Livermore, Calif.; three sons, Russell George of Redding, Calif ., and twins, Gregg George of Laurel Bay, S.C. and Guy George of Oakley, Calif.; two brothers, Melvin Durr of Houston, Texas, and Carol1 Durr of Nebraska City, Neb.; five grandsons; two granddaughters; and several nieces and nephews.
    She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers.
