Graveside services for Wendell "Woody" Johnson, 39, of 2198
Escalante, Eugene, Ore., and formerly of Nampa, who died
Thursday in a Eugene hospital from natural causes, will be
conducted at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Hillcrest Memorial
Gardens with the Rev. David Guard, pastor of the Southside
Boulevard United Methodist Church, officiating.
There will be no
cortege. Friends are
asked to meet at the cemetery.
Services are under the direction of the Alsip Funeral
Chapel.
He was born June 28, 1943 at Nampa where he was reared and graduated from Nampa
High School in 1962.
He graduated from
Williamette
University in Salem, Ore.
in 1966. Since 1974 he
had made his home in Eugene
where he was employed by the U.S. National Bank of
Oregon
as a vice president.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Jacque Johnson,
Eugene, Ore.; two
sons, David Johnson, a student at the University of Oregon
and Mike Johnson, at home; a daughter, Julie Johnson, at home
his mother, Mrs. Marie Johnson, Nampa;
two brothers, Max Johnson,
Seattle, Wash.,
and Warren Johnson, Memphis, Tenn.; two sisters, Wilma Lenz,
Boise and Karen White, Atlanta, Ga.
He was preceded in
death by his father, Fred E. Johnson on Jan. 16, 1945.
