Akia Jordan Knibbe, two-year-old son of Jodi Knibbe of
Nampa, died Thursday afternoon of
accidental drowning. Funeral
services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 24,
1995, at Persons-Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Nampa. The
Rev. Roy Litsey, pastor of the Bethel
Nazarene
Church will officiate.
Burial will follow
at Hillcrest
Memorial
Gardens,
Caldwell.
Akia Jordan Knibbe was born on August 19, 1992, in
Nampa.
He was a loving boy with a dynamic personality.
He was always happy and carefree.
He never met a stranger.
He was so precious and loved by all who knew him.
He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
He loved music.
Hes favorite move was
The Lion King.
His favorite color was purple.
Akia is survived by his Mommy, Jodi Knibbe, Nampa; Grammy
Colleen Combe, Nampa; Gramps’ Brent Combe, Nampa; Papa
Douglas Knibbe Sr., Philomath, OR; Gret-grandparents Jack
and Gladys Knibbe, Colville WA, Carole and Earl Morrow,
Auburn WA; Grandma Hedy Schoonard, Boise; Auntie and Uncld
Mikey Nampa; Uncles Doug, Ryan, Carl and Garth; Aunts Kath,
and Janeen; His buddy Martin; Numerous aunts, uncles,
cousins, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his Great-granddad Jack
O’Keefe and his Uncle Craig Combe.
The family wants to express their thanks and appreciation to
everyone who participated in the search and rescue effort.
Friends may call today until 9 p.m. and on Tuesday from 9
a.m. to 9 p.m. at Persons-Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Nampa.
