Beulah Ledbetter

    Services for Beulah A. Ledbetter, 72, of Wilder, who died Wednesday, Jan. 11, at a Caldwell nursing home, will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Golden Gate Baptist Church, Wilder.
    Officiating will be Keith Yarter Sr., pastor of the Golden Gate Church.  Interment will follow at the Wilder Cemetery under the direction of the Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Caldwell.
    She was born Aug. 27, 1911, in Howell County, Mo., where she was reared and educated.  She married Thomas S. Ledbetter on Oct. 9, 1927, at Birch Tree, Mo.  The couple moved to Wilder in 1944, and she worked as a restaurant cook and later in the school lunchroom until retiring in 1964.  Mr. Ledbetter died in 1962.
    She is survived by a son, Dwaine Ledbetter, Ontario; one daughter, Velma Kipper of Wilder; one brother, Howard Pierce of Birch Tree; seven grandchildren, and six great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
    She was preceded in death by a son, Thomas, and a brother. Friends may call at the Flahiff Funeral Chapel today from 1 until 8 p.m.
