Private services
for Carl E. Liedberg Sr., 68, Caldwell,
who died Sunday, July 8, at a Caldwell hospital, were conducted today at Hillcrest Memorial
Gardens, Caldwell, under the direction of the Dakan
Funeral Chapel, Caldwell.
He was born
April 27, 1916, at Elgin, Ill.,
to John and Signa Liedberg.
He married Dorlene May Ihnen on Jan. 29, 1959, at
Lenox,
S.D.
They lived for a
time in Illinois,
Prescott, Ariz.,
and Santa Ana,
Calif., before moving to
Caldwell
in 1974, where he had since resided.
Mrs. Liedberg
died July 27, 1980.
He is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Carl
E. Jr. and Wendy R. Liedberg; one daughter and son-in-law,
Susan L. and Stephen E. Penrod; two grandsons, Charles
Edward Liedberg and Kelly J. Penrod, all of Caldwell; two
sons, Arthur W. Liedberg of Illinois and James Liedberg of
California.
