Camilo Lerma II

    Camilo R. "El Tipo" Lerma II, 77, of Wilder, died Thursday, June 24, 1993, at the Caldwell hospital of natural causes.  Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, June 28, 1993, at Dakan Funeral Chapel, Caldwell.  Rev. Ramiro Reyes of Wilder will officiate.  Burial will follow at the Wilder Cemetery, Wilder,
    Mr. Lerma was born February 23, 1916, at Gregory, Texas, to Camila and Felicitas Lerma.  He was raised in Runge, Texas, and served in the U.S. Army during World War II.  He married Dolores Garcia, February 19, 1947, in Donna, Texas. Mr. Lerma worked as a carpenter and a cook in Alamo, Texas.  In 1951 he and his wife moved to Homedale, Idaho, where he worked as a cook for the Bracer National Program and later worked for the Homedale Labor Camp as a custodian.  In 1957, he and his wife moved to Wilder.  He worked as a custodian for the Wilder Community Farm Labor Sponsoring Committee until it later became the Wilder Housing Authority. He worked for the housing authority until his retirement in 1979.
    Mr. Lerma is survived by his wife, Dolores G. L,erma of Wilder; a son, Ruben of Wilder, two daughters, Anita and her husband, Lorenzo Villarreal of Corpus Christi, Texas, and Belinda Almeida of Wilder; two brothers, Eugenio Lerma of Tulare, California, and Rosendo Lerma of Taft, Texas; two sisters, Lily Salinas of Tulare, California, and Guadalupe Hinojosa of San Diego, Texas; his grandchildren, Linda, Christina and Robert Villarreal of Corpus Christi, Texas, and Monica and Jessica Almeida of Wilder; and several beloved nieces and nephews.
    He was preceded in death by his parents; five brothers, Manuel, Reynaldo, Miguel, Guadalupe and Alfredo; and a son, Camilo III.
    Mr. Lerma's family will greet their friends at Dakan Funeral Chapel, Caldwell, from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday.
