Services for
Elizabeth Z. "Lizzie" Leeper, 78, of Caldwell, who died
Tuesday, Nov. 11, at home of natural causes, will be held at
2 p.m. Friday at the Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Caldwell.
The Rev. Bill
Free of the Caldwell Church of Christ will officiate.
Burial will follow
at the Hillcrest Memorial Gardens,
Caldwell.
Mrs. Leeper was
born Nov. 5, 1908, at
Dickerson, N.D. She attended schools there in North Dakota but had to
quit school after the death of her mother to take care of
other brothers and sisters.
Their family moved to the Belfry,
Mont., area,
where they lived until moving in 1939 to the Emmett-Ola
area. They moved to
the Caldwell area in the early 1940s.
She worked at
several different packing sheds and for Swift in
Caldwell.
Later she worked as
a cook for the United States Forest Service until she
retired due to poor health.
She enjoyed
gardening, crocheting, embroidering and was an excellent
cook. She is
survived by a son and a daughter-in-law, R.B. "Tony" and
Frances Wolfe of Emmett; a daughter and son-in-law, Ethel
and Lyle Cooper of Middleton; a brother, Nick Wolfe of
Belfrey; a special friend, Calvin Turpin of Caldwell; 10 grandchildren; 16
great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded
in death by three brothers, two sisters and a grandson.

Friends may
call at the Caldwell Flahiff chapel Thursday from 11 a.m. to
8 p.m. and Friday from 9 a.m. to noon.
