Esther Christeen Lewis

    Esther Christeen Lewis, 82, of Everett, Wash., formerly of Nampa, died Monday, March 21, 1994, at an Everett hospital.
    Funeral services will be at 10 a.m., Thursday, March 24, 1994, at Persons-Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Nampa.  Pastor Charmian Buck from Central Assembly of God, Boise, will officiate.  Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Caldwell.
    Esther was born October 18, 1911, in Success, Ark., a daughter of Charles and Anna May Gravatt Gibson.  She was raised in the Arkansas and Missouri area.  Esther married Dolphas G. Lewis on Oct. 31, 1927, in Batesville, Ark.  They moved to Idaho in 1936.  After Mr. Lewis was ordained, they served churches in Wilder and Meridian.  After serving churches in other areas, they returned to Nampa in 1955 and founded the Calvary Assembly of God, Church, where they stayed until retirement in 1961.  Rev. Lewis died Dec. 15, 1972.  Esther moved to Boise and then to Everett in 1986, where she has since resided.
    Survivors include a son and his wife, David and Sharon Lewis of Park City, Utah; a daughter and her husband, Mary Lou and Albert honey of Everett; one sister, nine grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.  Esther was also preceded in death by her parents, one brother and two sisters.
