Fred C. Kurpjuweit

    Nampa Services fro Fred C. Kurpjuweit, 81, of 423 17th Ave. S. Nampa who died Saturday at his home, following an extended illness, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Alsip Funeral Chapel in Nampa with Rev. Arthur Collins of the Lutheran Church, Caldwell, officiating.  Interment will follow in the hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
    Mr. Kurpjuweit was born to Frederick Julius Kurpjuweit and Frederika Emilie Kaiser Kurpjuweit on Jan. 13, 1895, in Ainsworth, Neb. Where he was reared and attended school.  He was married to Hazel McCully April 21, 1921 in Ainsworth.  The farmed in South Dakota and Missouri before moving to the Nampa area in 1952.  He worked for a short time at the Amalgamated Sugar Co. in Nampa and then worked at the J.R. Simplot Co. in Caldwell for about 10 years.  In about 1963, they moved to Kuna where he farmed until he retired in 1969 and they moved into Nampa where they have since made their home.
     Mr. Kurpjuweit is survived by his wife of Nampa; four sons, Duglas Kurpjuweit, Frederick Kurpjuweit and Dale Kurpjuweit, all of Nampa, and Lewis Kurpjuweit, Reseda, Calif., four daughters, Mrs. Everrett (Bonnie) Hill, Emmett, Mrs. Leo (Hazel) Axtell, Mrs. William (Yoatta) Morris and Mrs. Ade (Kaye) Trautman, all of Nampa; one daughter-in-law, Mrs. Julius F. (Helen) Kurpjuweit, Nampa; 33 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by one son, Juluis F. Kurpjuweit in 1965, and three brothers, Emil, Albert and Otto Kurpjuweit.
