Private family graveside services for Florence Jane Knadle,
85, of Nampa, who died
Tuesday, Oct. 15, in a Nampa
nursing home, were conducted at the
Hillcrest Memorial Gardens
with the Rev. Donn Mogford of the Berean Baptist Church
officiating. Services
were under the direction of the Alsip Funeral Chapel,
Nampa.
Mrs. Knadle was born Sept. 18, 1900, in
St. Louis, Mo. She
was reared and educated in Missouri.
While in college,
she studied law and journalism.
She worked as a Chicago attorney's legal
secretary for 10 years. In
1969, she moved to
Los Angeles.
She worked as an
executive secretary at the
El Monte, Calif., Chamber of Commerce.
She married William J. Knadle Dec. 5, 1971, in
Los Angeles and they moved to Nampa in July of 1972.
He died in 1977.
She is survived by a step-daughter, Mrs. Ed (Dorothy R.)
Davis of Nampa; one
sister, Ruth Burgess of
Nampa; five step-grandchildren and
eight step-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a stepson, Donald Knadle, in
1972.
