Hubert "Herb" Lasley, 70, of
Nampa, who died Thursday, Oct. 20, at
home, will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Alsip Funeral
The Rev. Tom McCall, pastor of the Nampa
Church, will officiate.
Burial will follow
at the Hillcrest
Mr. Lasley was born Oct. 16, 1917, at Cabool, Mo.,
to Harland and Daisy Lasley.
He was reared and educated in
He married Alice
Pringle in 1939. They
moved to Oregon in 1948.
He worked at
numerous jobs including the Union Pacific, Railroad, Lucky
Peak Dam, and a saw mill in Unity, Ore.
He worked for
Guerdons Trailer Manufacturing Co. of Boise until his
He married Ruth Anderson„ Oct. 27, 1961, and they had
resided in Nampa
enjoyed the outdoors, including the mountains, fishing,
hunting, and camping. He also enjoyed conversing with his CB
survived by his wife of Nampa; three sons, Earnest of Nyssa,
Ore., Alven of Quincy, Wash., and Leon of Ontario, Ore.; two
daughters, Kay of Eagle, and Leona of Parma; a stepdaughter,
Evelyn Tarte of Ontario; two sisters, Clarice of Lindsey,
Mo. and Cora Johns of Nampa; 17 grandchildren; seven
great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded
in death by two brothers, Willie and Clarence of Missouri.
Friends may call
at the Nampa Alsip chapel today until 9 p.m., Friday from 8
a.m. to 9 p.m., and Saturday until noon.
