Iona Lee

    Graveside services for Iona P. Lee, 77, of Parkdale, Ore., who died Monday, Feb. 20, in Hood River, Ore., will be held Frdiay (sic) at 2 p.m. at the Middleton Cemetery.
    Bishop Craig Baird of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints will officiate, under the direction of the Anderson Funeral Home, Hood River.
    She was born June 16, 1906, in Oakley, Idaho, to William and Minnie Martindale.  She grew up and attended school in Oakley.  She married Orson Lee on Dec. 25, 1925, in Oakley.  She lived in Burley between 1931 and 1942, at which time they moved to California for a short period, prior to moving to Idaho Falls.  
    Since her husband's death in 1974, she has resided with her children.  The past six years, she has lived in Hood River.
    She is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and was an accomplished musician.
    She is survived by her son, Orson, of Boise; three daughters, Ruth Clack of Parkdale, Shirley Albertson of Richland, Wash., and Sharon Wells of Shelley, Idaho; 17 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Thurza Lloyd, Idaho Falls.
    Visitation will be from 11 a.m. till noon on Friday at Flahiff Funeral Home, Caldwell.
    Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
