Graveside services for Jessie Belle Kilpatrick, 96, of La
Mesa, Calif., and formerly of Boise, who died Sunday, Dec. 21,
at a San Diego, Calif., nursing home of natural causes, will
be held 2 p.m. Monday at the Parma Cemetery.
The
Rev, Mike Sanders of the Boise Church of Christ will officiate
under the direction of Dakan Funeral Chapel, Caldwell.
Mrs.
Kilpatrick was born April; 19, 1890, at
Phillipsburg, Kan.
She married James A. Kilpatrick Oct. 20, 1912, at
Beloit, Kan., and
they lived at Simpson, Kan., for several years.
They later moved to
Filer, where they lived for a time before moving to
Twin Falls.
In 1932 they moved to Parma.
She worked for Peckham's Furniture Co. for several
years as a manager. She
then moved with her family to California
for two years and in October 1945 moved to
Boise.
Her
husband died Oct. 24, 1945, and she continued to reside in
Boise until 1981 when she moved to
La Mesa
to be near her daughter.
She was a member of the Boise First Baptist Church
and of Ada Rebekah Lodge,
Boise.
She
is survived by a daughter, Vola Mitchell of
La Mesa, and numerous grandchildren and
great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sons, Ray and Glen.
