John A. Lee, 83,
of Roswell, died Monday, March 28, 1994, at the Caldwell
hospital of natural causes.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday,
March 31, 1994, at Dakan Funeral Chapel, Caldwell.
Pastor Virgil Saltz
of the Roswell Baptist
Church and Pastor Robert
Obenchain will officiate. Interment
will follow at the
Roswell
Cemetery.
Mr. Lee was born
January 13, 1911, in
Missouri, to
George P. Lee and Laura Roberson Lee.
He was raised on
Colorado and married Nellie Crawford in 1932 in
Marshfield,
Missouri.
They came to the Parma area in 1939 where they farmed until his
retirement in 1960. Since
that time, Mr. Lee has continued to reside on the family
farm and has continued to take an active interest in it.
He was a devoted
husband, father and grandfather who loved his family very
much. Mr. Lee
enjoyed hunting and fishing.
He was a member
of the Roswell Baptist Church.
Mr. Lee is
survived by his wife of 62 years, Nellie of Roswell; two
daughters and their husbands, Joan and Jim Talich of Roswell
and Bonnie and Robert Hild of Fruitland; a sister, Dessie
Wormington of Yucaipa, California; his grandchildren and
their spouses, Randy and Sheilda Talich, Linda Talich,
Richard and Sandy Talich, Cheri and Dave Tuning, Teri and
Blaine May and Sandra and Steve Walker; fifteen
great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grand-children.
He was preceded
in death by a brother, Don in 1989.

made to the Roswell Baptist Church
or flowers may be sent.
