John Klinchuch

    Services for John Klinchuch, 96, 436 Central Midland Boulevard, Nampa, who died Tuesday, Nov. 17, at a Nampa nursing home, will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday, at the Zion Lutheran Church, Nampa, by the Rev. E. Paul Riedel, pastor.  Interment will be at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Caldwell, under the direction of Flahiff Funeral Chapel of Nampa.
    He was born Feb. 6, 1886, at Beckov, Czechoslovakia, and was reared and educated in Vienna, Austria.  He came to the United States at the age of 18 and worked as a machinist and blacksmith in New York and Philadelphia.  He moved to Dupree, S.D., where he homesteaded and raised cattle.
    He married Susan Bosak, July 30, 1911 at Dupree, where they lived until moving to the Nampa area in 1936 where he was engaged in farming.  Mrs. Klinchuch died Dec. 10, 1964.
    He was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church, Nampa.
    He is survived by three sons, John T. Koinchuch (sic), Kuna, Joe W. Klinchuch, Nampa, and George C. Liinchuch (sic), Delano, Calif.; one daughter, Mrs. Orval (Mildred) Pooley, Nampa; 20 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
    He was proceeded (sic) in death by two daughters, Lillian Nordlund and Georgia Klinchuch.
    Memorials may be made to the Zion Lutheran Church or the Mountain States Tumor institute.
    Friends may call at the chapel today until 9 p.m., Saturday from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m., Sunday from 1 until 9 p.m. and Monday at the church from 10 a.m. until time of services.
