Lemuel Lincoln

    Funeral services for Lemuel "Lem" Logan Lincoln, 82, Parma Route 1, who died Thursday, April 21 at home will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 26 at the Wilder United Methodist Church with the Rev. Sue Nelson Caille presiding.  Interment will follow at the Wilder Cemetery under the direction of Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Caldwell.
    He was born Dec, 22 1900 at Bradshaw, Neb. to Alfred and Ida Logan Lincoln.  He attended a country grade school and Bradshaw High School.  He married Elvie M. Boyle on March 20, 1930 at Aurora Neb. and they recently observed their 53rd wedding anniversary.  
    He farmed and did mechanical work in Nebraska.  They moved in 1942 to Wilder where he worked for Paulsen Farms for several years.  In 1947 he started in the dairy business and farmed in Wilder, and with his son operated a grade A dairy farm.
    He was active in the Idaho Farm Bureau and the Idaho Guernsy Breeders Ass.
    He is survived by his wife in Parma; a daughter and son-in-law, Beth and Bruce Beck, Garden Valley; a son and daughter-in-law Rolly and Margaret Lincoln, Parma; a sister, Erma Spray of Torrington Wyo.; six grandsons, a grandaughter, one great-granddaughter, and nine nieces and nephews.
    He was preceded in death by an infant son, three brothers and a sister.  
    Friends may call at the chapel Monday from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Tuesday from 9 a.m. until noon.  Memorials may be given to the United Methodist Church, Wilder.
