Ludwig Kratoshvil

    Ludwig W. Kratoshvil (Kratavil), 67, Notus, died yesterday afternoon in a Boise hospital.
    Mr. Kratoshvil was born March 27, 1896, in Pierce County, Neb.  He grew up in Nebraska and enlisted in the Army in 1916.  He served on the Mexican border and in France during World War I.  He was discharged in 1919.
    He married Helen Sleeper April 18, 1922, in Stanton, Neb., and later operated a shoe repair business in Wayne, Neb., Corvallis, Ore., and Arcadia, Calif., before retiring in 1950.  He lived in Santa Barbara, Calif., before moving to Notus in March, 1961.
    Survivors include his wife, Helen, Notus; a son, Richard, Santa Barbara, Calif.; three sisters, Mrs. Bertha Mordhorst and Mrs. Agnes Marshall, McMinnville, Ore., and Mrs. Clara Hynes, LaCombe, La.; and four grandchildren.
    Services are pending at Peckham-Dakan-Davis Chapel.
