Funeral services for Lillian Looney, 86, of 2723 Colorado ,
St., Caldwell, who died Saturday at home, will be conducted
at 2:30 p.m. Friday at Dakan Funeral Chapel, Caldwell, by
Elder Elmer Unterseher and Elder R. A. Garner, both of the
Seventh-day Adventist Church, Caldwell.
Interment will
follow in Hillcrest
Memorial
Gardens,
Caldwell.
She was born Sept. 17, 1895, in Bradley, S.D.
She later moved with
her family to Oregon and settled near Salem, where she was reared and educated.
She taught school
for a short time. She married Walter T. Looney in 1915 in
Salem.
They moved to the
Wilder area where they farmed in the Dixie Community for
many years.
She is survived by a daughter, Juanita Harvey of
Pocatello; two sons, Claude of
Seattle and Lloyd of Caldwell; 12 grandchildren; and 17
great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Carl, 10 brothers
and several sisters.
Friends may call at the chapel from 5 to 9 p.m.
today.
Memorials may be made to The Quiet Hour or The Voice
of Prophecy, c-o Dakan Funeral Chapel, Caldwell.
