Graveside services for Mabel V. Knee, 96, Caldwell, who died
Tuesday, June 18, at home of natural causes, will be held at
11 a.m. Monday at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Caldwell.
Pastors Gerald Crownover and R.E. Parrish of the Fist
Assembly of God Church, Caldwell, will officiate, under the
direction of the Dakan Funeral Chapel of Caldwell.
Mrs. Knee was born May 24, 1889, at Cresco, Iowa,
the daughter of John and Adelia Cushing.
She was reared and educated in
Iowa.
She married Walter B. Knee Dec. 9, 1909, at Plainview, Neb.
After their marriage, they lived in Nebraska and
South Dakota.
They moved to
Idaho
in 1937. They
had celebrated their 50th anniversary in 1959.
Mr. Knee died July 30, 1960.
She was a member of the First Assembly of God Church,
Caldwell.
She is survived by two sons, Cecil Knee of
Huntington Beach, Calif., and Ralph Knee of Boise; four
daughters, Lottie (Mrs. Roy) Scaggs, Middleton, Dee (Mrs.
Ira) Bowdish of Yerrington, Nev., Lois (Mrs. Budd) Thurston
and Bessie (Mrs. Norman) Mattox, both of Caldwell; 14
grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren and three
great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, a son Mark, and
two breothers.
Friends may call today from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the
Dakan Funeral Chapel, Caldwell.
