Nellie Lanfear

    Funeral services for Nellie Bell Lanfear, 93, of Caldwell, who died Saturday, March 9, 1991, at a Caldwell nursing home, will be held at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday. March 12, at Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Caldwell. Rufus Cole of the Northwest Mountain Mission, New Meadows, will officiate. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Caldwell.
    Mrs. Lanfear was born Oct. 9, 1897, at Nebraska, a daughter of George and Vada Freeman Burkhart. She married Albert L. Lanfear Sept. 25, 1913, at Beukleman, Neb. The couple lived in Saint Francis, Kan., until 1943 when they moved to Caldwell where they had since resided. She was a member of the Northwest Mountain Mission, McCall.
She is survived by her husband, Albert of Caldwell; two sons Raymond of Issaquah, Wash., and George of Caldwell; two daughters, Irene Stedtnitz of Modesto, Calif., and Bonnie Ketchum of Nampa; nine grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; seven great-great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
    She was preceded in death by a brother, two sisters and two grandsons.
