Otis Lynskey

    Otis P. Lynskey, 73, of Melba, died on Monday, May 4, 1992, at a Nampa care center.  Graveside services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, May 7, at the Melba Cemetery.  Pastor Russ Steiner of the Melba Community Baptist Church and Brent Zeyer of Melba will officiate with military honors by the Melba American Legion Post #126.  Services are under the direction of the Alsip Funeral Chapel, Nampa.
    Otis P. Lynskey was born on Sept. 22, 1918, in Norma, North Dakota, to Silas and Ora Lynskey.  He served in the U.S. Army during W.W.II.  He married Emma Rena Manus on Jan. 29, 1946, at Melba, where they made their home.  Otis farmed for many years.  He was a member of the Melba American Legion Post #126.
    Otis is survived by his wife, Mrs. Emma R. Lynskey, Melba; 2 sons and daughters-in-law, Kent and Sharon Lynskey, Ely, Nevada, and Kirby and Rhonda Lynskey, Nampa; a sister, Ione Fine, Melba; 2 granddaughters, Merry Kathleen and Brandi Richelle; 2 grandsons, Dan Wayne and Brad Paul; 2 great-granddaughters; 2 great-grandsons; and a number of nieces and nephews.
    He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 sons, a daughter, a granddaughter, Rose Marie, and 4 brothers.
    Friends may call at the Alsip Funeral Chapel today until 9 p.m.
    The family suggests memorials to a favorite charity or flowers may be sent.
