Rena Klopping

    Services for Rena V. Klopping, 76, of 2609 Sunnybrook Dr., Nampa, who died Tuesday, May 31, in a Nampa hospital, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday at the Nampa First Church of the Nazarene with the Rev. Charles E. Higgins, pastor, officiating.
    Interment will follow in the Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. Services under the direction of the Alsip Funeral Chapel,
    She was born June 16, 1906, at Cedar Rapids, Iowa, where she was reared and educated. She graduated from high school at the John Fletcher Academy and then attended the college there for two years in Oskaloosa, Iowa.
    She married Roy M. Klopping Jan. 9, 1929, at Cedar Rapids, Iowa.  They pastored churches in Iowa, Illinois and Wyoming for the Open Bible Standard Church.  He served as an associate pastor in California.  In 1972, they moved to Nampa where they have since resided.  She was a member of the Nampa First Church of the Nazarene.
    She is survived by her husband of Nampa; one son, Robert R. Klopping, Nevada, Iowa; one daughter, Mrs. Wendell (Darlene) Lindstrom of Nampa; one brother, Paul Comley, Vancouver, Wash.; two sisters, Pearl Knight, Boise, and Bessie Brown, Belen, New Mexico; two grandsons and two grandsons and two granddaughters.
    She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother and two sisters.
