Funeral services for Mrs. Vera M. Kurpjuweit, 61, of
Nampa, who died Friday, December 3, 1993, at a
Nampa hospital, will be conducted at 10:30 a.m.,
Tuesday, December 7, 1993, at the Alsip Funeral Chapel,
Nampa.
Burial will follow in the Hillcrest Memorial
Gardens, Caldwell.
Vera M. Kurpjuweit was born on November 13, 1932 in
Douglas County, Missouri to Nova and Hazel Carter Smallwood.
She attended schools in Missouri
and then moved with her family to
Idaho
continuing her education. She
worked at several jobs around the area including farm labor
jobs and at Evans Fly Tying Factory in
Caldwell.
She married Doug Kurpjuweit on August 4, 1956 in
Caldwell.
They made their home
in Nampa where she worked as a
homemaker during her married life.
She is survived by; Her husband, Doug of Nampa; a son and
daughter-in-law, Jay and Nina Kurpjuweit of Nampa; two
daughters and a son-in-law, Debbie and Rod Peterson of Nampa
and Tina Kurpjuweit of Nampa; two granddaughters, Tiffany
Bishop and Emily Kurpjuweit; her mother; and seven brothers
and sisters.
She was preceded in death by her father.
Friends may call at the Alsip Funeral Chapel today from noon
until 9 p.m., Monday from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. and on Tuesday
from 8 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.
