Adam P. Martell

    CALDWELL - Services for Adam P. Martell, 86, 1521 Willow, who died Wednesday evening in a Caldwell hospital, will be conducted at Flahiff Funeral Chapel at 10:30 a.m. Saturday by the Rev. James Dougherty of the First Church of God.  Interment will be a Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
    He was born Sept. 6, 1886 in Kassell, Russia.  He was married to Rosina Wolff Jan. 20 1909 in Russia and the couple came to the United States in 1911.  They homesteaded in Logan County, N.D., and farmed there until 1932.  They lived in Nortonville, N.D., until coming to the Boise Valley in 1936.  Mrs. Martell died in 1959.  He was married to Maria Kleiner Dec. 6, 1963 in Caldwell.
    He was a member of the First Church of God.
    Surviving in addition to Mrs. Martell are two sons, Arthur of Nampa and Jake Martell of Caldwell; five daughters, Anna Fercho of Caldwell, Pauline Schmierer and Rose Broomhall, both of Nampa, Theresa Schmiere of Meridian and Adeline Knudsen of Boise; 31 grandchildren and 37 great-grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by a son and a daughter.
