CALDWELL — Services for Charles A. McGee, 86, of 209 W. Ash,
Caldwell, who died Sunday at a Caldwell hospital, will be
conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Dakan Funeral Chapel,
Caldwell, by Rev. Dale Van Degrift and Mount Moriah Lodge
No. 39 AF&AM. Internment will be in Hillcrest Cemetery.
He was born Dec. 15, 1889, at Arapahoe, Neb. He moved to
Idaho in 1905. He married Berenice Bentley in 1916 in
Detroit, Mich. He returned to Caldwell and worked for the
Union Pacific Railroad until he retired. He was a member of
the Masonic Lodge, Caldwell, and a charter member and the
first president of the Owyhee Gem and Mineral Society.
Surviving are his wife, Caldwell; a daughter, Jane
Anderberg, Orem, Utah; a son, Charles A. Jr., Provo, Utah; a
sister, Mrs. S.O. (Erma) Collins, Bonners Ferry, Idaho;
eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He was
preceded in death by a son, Keane B.
