Elma McOsker

    Services for Elma B. McOsker, 87, of Nampa, who died Tuesday, Nov. 6, in a Nampa nursing home, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday at the Alsip Funeral Chapel, Nampa.
    The Rev. Donald J. Brown, pastor of the Star Friends Church, will officate.  Interment will follow in the Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
    Mrs. McOsker was born Nov. 14, 1896, in Stafford, Kan., where she was reared and educated.  She graduated from Kansas Central Bible Training Institute in Haviland, Kan.  She married Clark C. McOsker on Aug. 2, 1916, in Cheney, Kan.  They farmed for a number of years at Stafford prior to moving to Greenleaf where they lived for a short time.
    In 1938 they moved to Emmett where they farmed.  In 1946 they moved to Nampa to make their home.  Mr. McOsker died May 14, 1973.
    She was a member of the Nampa Friends Church, where she taught Sunday school for a number of years.
    She is survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.  She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Joyce.
    Memorials may be made to the Friends Bible College, Haviland, Kan. 67059 or to George Fox College, Newberg, Ore. 97132.
