Graveside
services for Hattie Haumann McCoy, 87, of
Caldwell, who died Thursday, June 18, at a
Caldwell nursing home of natural causes, will be
held at 2 p.m. Monday at Hillcrest
Memorial
Gardens,
Caldwell.
Pastor Jeff Cooke
of the Memorial Park Baptist Church, Caldwell, will
officiate. Services
are under the direction of Dakan Funeral Chapel, Caldwell.
Mrs. McCoy was
born Feb. 11, 1900, at Thedford, Neb.,
to August and Henrietta Haumann. She was reared and educated
in Nebraska. She was a
practical nurse for many years before moving to Caldwell in 1942.
She worked as a
licensed practical nurse at the old Memorial Park Hospital
in Caldwell
and later at
Caldwell
Memorial
Hospital.
She married John
J. McCoy Dec. 4, 1952, at
Caldwell.
They lived on a
small acreage on the old
River Road
near Caldwell
until his death in September 1975.
She had since
resided in Caldwell.
She was a member
of the Memorial Park Baptist Church, Caldwell, for many
years. She is
survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded
in death by five sisters and eight brothers.
