Lucile McCormick

    Graveside funeral services for Lucile A. McCormick, 78, of 1230 San Joaquin Dr., Palm Springs, Calif., who died July 17, in Palm Springs will be conducted at 11 a.m., Saturday at the Roswell Cemetery in Roswell by the Rev. Paul F. Evans of the Kirkpatrick Memorial Community Church, Parma.
    She was born April 17, 1904 in Ward County, N.D. She received a B.A. degree in education at the Minot State College in Minot, N.D. and graduated from the McPhail School of Music in Minneapolis, Minn.  She taught music, mostly choral, in the public schools of Helena, Mont, Minot, N.D., Walla Walla, Wash., Salt Lake City, and East Lansing, Mich.  She retired in 1967 to Palm Springs, where she has since resided.
    She is survived by a brother, William G. McCormick of Palm Springs.
