PARMA—Graveside services for Laura "Lessie"
McDonald: 90, of Parma, who
died Monday in a Caldwell
nursing home, will be conducted at 3 p.m. Friday at
Parma
Cemetery.
Officiating will
be Elder R.A. Garner of the
Seventh-day Adventist Church,
Caldwell.
Services are under
the direction of Parma's Dakan Funeral
Chapel. She
was born on Feb. 18, 1884, in Washington County, Kan.,
and was reared and educated in
Kansas.
She homesteaded in
Adrian,
Ore., in 1916 and moved to Parma in 1923.
In Parma
she was a school nurse and later a home nurse until 1950.
She was a
member of the Seventh-day Adventist
Church of Parma.
Survivors are an adopted daughter, Donna Barker,
Caldwell: a brother, William Ray McDonald. Pierson, Fla.:
two grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
Five sisters and two
brothers preceded her in death.
