Rosary for Maria
C. Martinez, 58, of Caldwell, who died Wednesday, Sept. 16, in an industrial
accident in
Caldwell, will be recited at 7:30
p.m. today at the Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Caldwell.
Mass of Christian
burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St.
Mary's Catholic Church, Caldwell, by Father John Koelsch.
Burial will follow
at Hillcrest Memorial
Gardens, Caldwell.
Mrs. Martinez was born March 26, 1929, in
Mexico, to Sostene and
Maria Guajardo. She
was reared and educated in
Mexico
and came to the
United States at an early
age.
She
married Donaciano Martinez in 1946.
They moved to Caldwell in 1977, where they had since
resided. She had
worked at the J.R. Simplot Co., Caldwell, for the past 10
years. She was a
member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Caldwell.
She is survived
by her husband of Caldwell; three sons, Donaciano Jr.,
Dionico and Daniel Martinez, all of Caldwell; a daughter,
San Juana Nunez of Wilder; two brothers, Melecio Guajardo of
Caldwell and Gillermo Guajardo of Wes Laco, Texas; three
sisters, Margarita Guajardo and Telvina Guajardo, both of
Wes Laco, and Evila G. Luna of Chicago, Ill.; seven
grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded
in death by a sister.
