Services for Russell A. Mckee, 64, of Kuna Route 1, who died
Monday, Jan. 17, in a Nampa hospital following a short
illness, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday at the Hillcrest
Memorial Gardens with Wes Johansen, pastor of the Lutheran
Brethren Church of Nampa, officiating. Friends may meet at
the cemetery. Services are under the direction of the Alsip
Funeral Chapel.
He was born Oct. 14, 1918, at Minot, N.D.,
to George and Helena McKee. He was reared and educated near Minot. He moved to Nampa in the early 1940s.
He married Ann
Perkins on Aug. 18, 1944, at Payette. Following their
marriage, they made their home in Nampa
for three years prior to moving to Reynolds Creek in
Owyhee
County. He and his
brother, Edward, were involved in custom farm work for a
number of years. In 1961 he and his wife moved to Kuna where
they made their home. He was employed as a mechanic at
Armour and Company in
Nampa
from 1958 until his retirement in 1979.
He is survived by
his wife of Kuna; one daughter, Mrs. Vance (Jackie)
Woodruff, Star; two sisters, Mrs. Esther Bequette,
Rock Island, Wash.,
and Mrs. Alva Alderman, Velva,
N.D.; one brother Edward McKee,
Nampa; three grandsons, Barry, Todd
and Loren, and one granddaughter, Rachelle. He was preceded
in death by his parents, three brothers and two sisters.
