Cryptside funeral
services for Mrs. Agnes P. Mitchell, 80, of
Nampa who died Wednesday, March 9, 1988, at the
Nampa hospital, will be conducted at 9:30 a.m.
Friday at the Hillcrest
Memorial
Gardens,
Building of
Reverence,
Caldwell.
The Rev. Kenneth Britt of the Nampa First Christian
Church will officiate.
Friends are asked to please meet at the cemetery.
Services are under the direction of the Alsip Funeral
Chapel, Nampa.
Agnes P. Mitchell
was born Oct. 2, 1907, at
Yuma County, Colo. to Arthur and Maude McConnell.
As a young child she moved with her family to
Wilsonville, Neb. where she was reared and educated.
After graduation she taught in country schools around
the area. She
married John Mitchell Dec. 24, 1926, in
Oberlin, Kan. and made their home in Wilsonville, Neb.
where they farmed.
They moved to Melba in 1934; to
Bellingham, Wash.
in 1940; and to
Santa Ana, Calif. in 1951.
After her husband's retirement in 1965 they moved to
Nampa
where they had since resided.
She is survived
by her husband of Nampa; two sisters-in-law of Meridian
and Orlando, Fla.; three nephews; and three nieces.
She was preceded
in death by her parents and a brother,
Chester.
The family
suggest memorials be made to the American Heart Association
of Idaho, 3295 Elder St., Suite 140, Boise, Idaho 83705; or
flowers may be sent.
Friends may call at the Alsip Funeral Chapel today
until 9 p.m.
