B. Easton Parrish
Graveside services for B. Easton Parrish, 84, of Nampa, who
died Thursday, Aug. 20, at the Nampa hospital, will be held
at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Hillcrest Memorial Gardens,
Caldwell. The Rev. Joseph Housh of
the Nampa First United Methodist Church will officiate,
under the direction of the Alsip Funeral Chapel, Nampa.
Friends may meet at the cemetery. Mr.
Parrish was born Nov. 9, 1902, in Nowata, Okla., to William
and Pearl Parrish. He was reared and educated in
Oklahoma. He married Maude 0. McGinnis
Dec. 16, 1922, in Nowata. They moved in 1925 to Texas,
where he worked as a driller in the oil fields. In
1943 they moved to Nampa and he worked for Lloyd Lumber Co.
until his retirement in 1967. Mrs.
Parrish died Oct. 10,1984. He had
since resided in Nampa. He attended
the Nampa First Congregational Church.
He is survived by four brothers, Joe Parrish of Memphis,
Tenn., Earl and Wayne Parrish, both of Nowata, and Raymond
Parrish of Bartlesville, Okla.; three sisters, Lola
Richardson of Springfield, Ill., and Naomi Parrish and
Melvina Mathis, both of Tulsa, Okla.; and numerous nieces
and nephews. He was preceded in death
by four brothers and a sister.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, Mrs.
Bert Stone, 1643 Park Ave., Nampa 83651; or flowers may be
sent. Friends may call at the Nampa
Alsip chapel today until 9 p.m. and Saturday from 8 a.m, to
noon.
