Charles Efton Merriweather, 87, of Nampa,
who died on Thursday, Oct. 15, at home, will be held at 2
p.m. Tuesday at the Nampa First
Church of the Nazarene, 600 15th Ave. S.
The Rev. Bob
Miller, nephew, and the Revs. Jerry White and Vernon Wilcox
of the church, will officiate.
Burial will follow
at the Hillcrest Memorial
under the direction of the Alsip Funeral Chapel, Nampa.
Mr. Merriweather was born March 4, 1900, at
Sheldon, Mo., to John and Mary Merriweather.
At the age of six,
he moved with his family to

where he served as an usher for several years.
He is survived by
his wife of Nampa and a number of
nieces and nephews.
