Clarence Norris
Graveside services for Clarence Leroy Norris, 68, of Wilder,
who died Thursday, September 9, 1993 at his home of natural
causes will be conducted at 2:00 PM Tuesday, September 14,
1993 at the Wilder Cemetery, Wilder, Idaho. Reverend
James McDaniel of the Trinity Holiness Church in Homedale
will officiate under the direction of Flahiff Funeral
Chapel, Homedale. Family and friends are asked to meet
at the cemetery. Mr. Norris was born
January 22, 1925 at Cleora, Oklahoma a son of John Henry and
Corrinna Darrow Norris. He was reared and educated in
Jay, Oklahoma. He met Thelma in 1942 at Grove,
Oklahoma and they were married March 12, 1946 at Topeka,
Kansas. Clarence enjoyed fishing,
hunting, camping and playing softball. Some of his
fondest memories were of family campouts.
He is survived by his wife Thelma of Wilder; a son and
daughter-in-law David L. and Pam Norris of Wilder; three
daughters Sue and her husband Daniel Hodnett of Caldwell,
Joyce Nelson of Nyssa OR., and Janie and her husband Rob
Lewis of Weiser, three brothers Henry of Grove, Oklahoma;
Claude and his wife Bessie of Caldwell and Clyde and his
wife Mary of Wilder; a sister Jewel Keeter of Wilder; 14
grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces
and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; and a
brother. The family suggest that
memorials be given to MISTI, 151 E. Bannock, Boise, Idaho.
Friends may call Monday from 5:00
until 8:00 PM at the Flahiff Funeral Chapel Homedale.
