Pastor Doug Bailey of the Deer Flat Free Methodist Church will officiate, under the direction of the Dakan Funeral Chapel, Caldwell.
Mrs. Mercer was born March 31, 1918, at Givens Hot Springs near Marsing to Charles R. and Blanche Compton Hall, who had come to Idaho from Pennsylvania.  She lived most of her life in the Boise Valley.  She attended school in Huston, and at the old Lincoln School in Caldwell, where the Sears building now stands.

She is survived by her husband of Caldwell; a sister, Laura (Mrs. Bill) Burley of Nampa; a brother, Leland Hall of Warden, Wash.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters.
Friends may call at the Caldwell Dakan chapel from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday.
