Funeral services for Claude Glen Morgan, 89, of Nampa, who
died in a Nampa care center on Friday, April 20, 1990, from
natural causes, will be conducted at 2 p.m., Tuesday, April
24, at the Alsip Funeral Chapel with Rev. Kenneth B. Britt,
pastor of the Nampa First Christian Church, officiating.
Interment will follow in
Hillcrest Memorial Gardens,
Morgan was born on April 2, 1901, near
Ashgrove, Mo. He was reared and educated in Missouri.
He was married to Alma Burris on March 16, 1922, at
They made their home in Oklahoma
until 1927 when they moved to
North Platte, Neb,
where he worked for the Union Pacific Railroad and as a
trucker. In 1943 the
family moved to Nampa to make their home.
He was a livestock dealer and had a trucking business
until his retirement.
Claude is survived by his wife, Mrs. Alma L.
Morgan, Nampa; two daughters and sons-in-law, Betty and Glen
Magnuson, Cozad, Neb., and Claudine Cain and Oscar Nelson,
Nampa; a son and daughter-in-law, Bill and Charlotte Morgan,
Post Falls, Idaho; a brother, Roy L. Morgan, Tacoma, Wash.;
10 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, a grandson, a
granddaughter, a great-granddaughter, three sisters and

and Monday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., and on Tuesday from 8 a.m.
to 1 p.m.
