Emma Myers
    Services for Emma A. Myers, 89, longtime Nampa resident, who died at her home Wednesday, Jan. 1, will be conducted Saturday, at 2 p.m. at the Nampa Ninth Ward Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints with Bishop Darius Bailey officiating.
    Interment will follow at the Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.  Services and interment are under the direction of the Alsip Funeral Chapel of Nampa.
    Mrs. Myers was born on July 30, 1896, in Elgin, Neb., daughter of the late John and Minnie Dohse.  She was reared and educated in Elgin.  She married Charles H. Myers on May 17, 1920, at Pierce, Neb.  They lived in Neligh, Neb., and also in Gordon, Neb., where they both worked on a ranch, she as the cook for a number of years.  In 1936 they moved to Nampa where they have lived since.  Mr. Myers died in 1963.
    She was a member of the Nampa Ninth Ward, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, for many years.
    She is survived by one brother, Walter "Bud" Dohse of Nampa; and numerous nieces and nephews, including Ray Warnke of Nampa.
    Besides her husband she was preceded in death by three brothers, William Dohse, Carl Dohse and Jack Dohse; and by four sisters, Mary Hovelsrud, Lena Nydahl, Ellen Eckels, and Amanda Baldwin.
    Friends may call at the Alsip Funeral Chapel until 9 tonight and on Saturday from 8 a.m. to noon; and at the church from 1 to 1:45 p.m.
