Estell Palmer
Graveside funeral services for Estell Palmer, 81, of Nampa,
who died Friday, Sept. 7, 1990, at a Nampa care center, will
be conducted at 10 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 13, at the Hillcrest
Memorial
Gardens on Karcher Road. Pastor Gene
Crewse of the Mountain View Baptist Church, Boise, will
officiate. Services are under the direction of the
Alsip Funeral Chapel.
Mrs. Palmer was
born March 12, 1909, in Collin County, Texas, to Hattie and
John Hall. She lived in Texas until moving to the
Nampa area in 1971. She was a retired nurse. S he was
a member of the Mountain View Baptist Church, Boise.
She loved the Lord and was an inspiration to all who knew
her.
Estell is survived by two sons
and daughters-in-law, Jarvis and Nancy Palmer, Nampa, and
Selwyn and Pat Palmer, Bentonville, Ark.; five
grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother.
Friends may call at the Alsip Funeral Chapel on Wednesday
from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.
The family
suggest memorials be made to the Billy Graham Association,
P.O. Box 779, Minneapolis, MN 55440; or to a favorite
charity.
