Estha Tooley
Maggie Estha Tooley, 82, of Parma,
went to be with Our Lord December 9, 1995, at home, of
natural. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m.
Friday, December 15, 1995, at Dakan Funeral Chapel of Parma.
Burial will follow at the Roswell Cemetery.
Estha was born March 23, 1913, in Bowie, Tesas, to Sam Paul
and Leta Meyers Whitehead. She also has a sister,
Lucille of New Mexico and a brother Sam P. Whitehead Jr. of
Renton, WA.
She married Rolla Allen
Rhodes, and to this union 8 children were born, 6 of which
are still living, including: Leo Gibert Rhodes, Dorthy
J. Rhodes Wallace, Rolla Allen Rhodes Jr., Laurence W.
Rhodes, James B. Rhodes Jr., Estha M. Rhodes Moore.
Later on she married Richard J. Tooley and they were married
for 43 years. Estha and Richard did not have any
children together. Mr. Tooley passed away November 30,
1995.
Estha was a hard working lady.
She worked in potato and union sheds in Apple Valley for
about 16 years or more. She also worked alongside her
husband in the fields while topping onions and weeding the
crops.
She was a living and wonderful
person who will be greatly missed by her family forever.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her
parents, a daughter and a son.
