Edward Morrison
    Edward Morrison of Caldwell died Monday, October 17, 1994, of natural causes.  Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, October 21, 1994, at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens with Bishop Al Heck presiding, and Bill Jacobs, son-in-law, conducting.  Services are under the direction of Dakan Funeral Chapel, Caldwell.
    Ed was born October 29, 1933, in Pensacola, Oklahoma. He was the eighth child of Minnie Mae Patton and James W. Morrison. The family moved to Wilder in 1948.
    Ed served 20 years in the U.S. Navy, from 1952 to 1971, including the Korean and Vietnam wars.  He worked at the J.R. Simplot Company for the last eleven years.
    He was a member of the Caldwell Fifth Ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
    Ed is survived by his wife of 39 years, Leta Carroll Morrison; two daughters, Robin Morrison of Caldwell and Judy Jacobs and her husband, Bill, of Desoto, Texas; three sons, Stan and his wife LuAn of Washington, North Carolina, Tim of Albany, Georgia, and the son of his old age, his beloved Johnathan of Caldwell; six grandchildren, Katie, William and Stephanie Jacobs, Kerileigh Morrison, and Stephen and Sean Morrison; seven sisters; and five brothers.
    Ed was preceded in death by his mother and father, two sisters and two brothers.
    He will be greatly missed by his loved ones.
    Ed's family will greet their friends at the Dakan Funeral Chapel in Caldwell from 1 to 3 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. today, Thursday.
