Moran
Services for Fern V. Moran, 71, of Caldwell, who died
Monday, Feb. 9, in the Caldwell hospital of natural causes, will be held at 2 p.m.
Thursday at the Montana Avenue Baptist
Church, Caldwell.
Pastor Bruce Snyder will officiate with burial to
follow in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens,
Caldwell, under
the direction of Dakan Funeral Chapel, Caldwell.
Mrs. Moran was born May 25, 1915, at Fullerton, Neb.,
to Edward C. and Hazel M. Gallagher Barnett.
She moved with her parents in 1917 to the Caldwell area, where she had since resided.
She married John D. Moran July 25, 1934, at
Boise.
She is survived by her husband of Caldwell; a daughter, Dorothy Hitt of
Nampa; a son, Dorman "Butch" Moran of
Wamic,
Ore.; four sisters,
Bernice Saul of Klamath Falls, Ore., Velma Eason of Elma,
Wash., Barbara Stiles of Eaton Rapids, Mich., and Maxine
Purbaugh of Sultan, Wash.; two brothers, Forrest Barnett of
Sultan and Wilfred Gidley of Sweet Home, Ore.; seven
grandsons; nine great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and
nephews.
