Vigil Services
for Felipe Mercado Jr., 16, of Wilder, who died Sunday,
April 3, 1994, of injuries received in an automobile
accident, will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 5, 1994, at
the Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Homedale.
A Funeral Mass will
be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 6, 1994, at
St. Hubert's Catholic Church, Homedale, with
Father Oscar Jaramillo officiating. Burial will follow at
the Wilder
Cemetery, Wilder, Idaho.
Felipe was born July 18, 1977, at Torrance,
California, a son of Felipe and
Gloria Chavarria Mercado Sr.
He moved with his family to Wilder in 1979 where he
had since resided. He
was a Freshman at
Wilder
High School and enjoyed
playing basketball.
He was a member of St. Hubert's
Catholic Church, Homedale.
Survivors include
his mother, Gloria Mercado and stepfather, Javier Arias Sr.,
both of Wilder; his father, Felipe Mercado Sr. of
Nampa; and a brother, Javier Arias
Jr.
He was
preceded in death by his grandparents. Friends may call
today from 3 until 8 p.m. at the Flahiff Funeral Chapel,
Homedale.
