Gladys Ophus
Services for Gladys E. Ophus, 68, of Nampa, who died
Tuesday, April 16, in a Nampa hopsital, will be held at
10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Grace Lutheran Church, Caldwell.
The Rev, David C. Quail will be the officiant.
Interment will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens,
Caldwell, under the direction of Flahiff Funeral Chapel of
Nampa.
Miss Ophus, a retired
beautician, was born March 13, 1917, in Pellican Rapids,
Minn., to Sever and Emma Hosterman Ophus, and was reared and
attended school there. She then attended beauty school
in Fargo, N.D., and after her graduation as a beautician in
Fargo until moving to California.
She
was a beautician in Los Angeles and later in Redlands, prior
to moving to Nampa in 1970 where she taught at the Superior
Western Beauty School for four years. She had worked
at the Carnation Company for the past 10 years.
She was a member of the Grace Lutheran Church, Caldwell.
She is survived by a brother-in-law,
William C. Marquardt of Nampa; three nieces and a nephew.
Her parents, three brothers and two sisters preceded her in
death.

to-night and on Friday at Flahiff Funeral Chapel of Nampa.
