Gary G. Merrill

    NAMPA - Funeral services for Gary G. Merrill, 31, of Nampa Route 2, who was fatally injured in an auto accident near Butte, Mont. Sunday, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Alsip Funeral Chapel.
    The Rev, Leonard Gallivan, pastor of Bethel Church of the Nazarene, will officiate.  Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
    Mr. Merrill was born June 26, 1941, at Payette, Idaho.  He was reared in the Payette-Fruitland-New Plymouth area, and graduated from New Plymouth High School in 1959.  He served in the U.S. Army from 1961 to 1963.  He was married to Connie Jo Davis on April 25, 1970, at Elko, Nev.  They have made their home here at Nampa since that time.  In the past, he had worked as a supervisor for Biltmore Homes at Boise, and had worked for the Fleetway Stations at Nampa.  At the time of his death, he was director of marketing for Grand Targhee Resort, Inc., at Alta. Wyo.
    Mr. Merrill was a member of Bethel Church of the Nazarene, of Nampa.
    He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Connie Jo Merrill, of Nampa; one daughter, Mandy Sue Merrill, at home; by his mother and stepfather, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Geisler, of Parma; one sister, Lorine Stephens, of LaGrande, Ore.; one brother, Don Merrill, of Touchet, Wash.; and by his grandmother, Mrs. Alma Kirkpatrick, of Caldwell, and by four nieces and nephews.
