Gerald Mileger

    CALDWELL - Services for. Gerald L. "Jerry" Mileger, 51, of 1506 Rim View Drive, Caldwell, who died Thursday morning at his home, will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Caldwell, by the Rev. Victor Schulze, Parma Trinity Lutheran Church.  Interment will be at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
    He was born March 10, 1921 in Edgar, Neb., where he was reared and attended school, and came to Caldwell when he was 16. He was a veteran of World War II and married Elsie Odermott July 4, 1947 in Winnemucca. They lived in Caldwell and he worked at Vermas Transfer Co., which he later purchased and operated. He was a member of Elks Lodge No. 1448, Caldwell, the Caldwell Bowling Association, the Idaho Mover's Conference and the Idaho Golf Association, and was past president of the Men's Golfing Association and the Caldwell Exchange Club.
    Survivors are his wife of Caldwell; a daughter, Mrs. Dee Maughan of Caldwell; four brothers, Ralph and Ray Mileger, both of Edgar, Bill Mileger of Wenatchee, Wash., and Harold Mileger of Caldwell; four sisters, Alma Smith of Clay Center, Neb., Evelyn Foultz of Prescott, Mich., Edith Abbott of North Hollywood, Calif., and Faye Frude of Fraize Park, Calif.; three grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.  A brother and four sisters preceded him in death.
