Howard Murphy
    Funeral services for Howard Earl Murphy, 62, 1015 N. 31st St. Boise who died Friday at a Boise hospital will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Flahiff Funeral Chapel in Caldwell by Rev. Charles Ellis of the Cloverdale Church of God.  Interment will follow at the .Middleton Cemetery, Middleton.
    He was born on May 14, 1919 in Caldwell to Walter and Alma Nessom Murphy.  He was reared and educated in Middleton and graduated from Middleton High School in 1938. He joined the United States Army in 1944 and was discharged in 1946.
    He married Zella Story on May 24, 1941 at Cascade.  He was a carpenter in the Boise Valley for 35 years.
    He is survived by his wife of Boise; three sons, Richard L., Raymond E. and Wesley N. Murphy all of Boise; a daughter, Lynda O'Brien of Edmonds, Wash.; three sisters, Eunice Sweetnam and Barbara Arrington of Emmett, and Jeanette Thovson of Seattle, Wash,; and five grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by a daughter, Karen and a brother Gordon R. Murphy.
    Memorials may be given to the Mountain States Tumor Institute 151 E, Bannock, Boise, or to Family Advocate Program 1134 N. Orchard, Boise.
