Herman O. Pearson
CALDWELL — Serviced for Herman O. Pearson, 81, of 905
Galveston, who died Wednesday at his home following an
illness, will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at the Flahiff
Funeral Chapel, Caldwell. The Rev. Gail Davis of the
Treasure Valley Christian Church will officiate.
Interment will be at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Pearson was born April 14, 1891 in Asherville, Kan., a
son of Samuel and Emma Vance Pearson. He was reared
and attended schools there. He married Famie Caldwell
Cavender July 29, 1914 in Glen Elder, Kan. and they located
near Asherville, where they farmed. In 1945 they came
to Caldwell, where he worked at the Crookham Seed Co.
He retired in 1964. They had resided here since.
He was a member of the Treasure Valley Christian Church.
Survivors are his wife, of Caldwell; three sons, Cloyd
Pearson of Caldwell; Chester Pearson of Costa Mesa, Calif.,
and Weston Pearson of Medford, Ore.; two sisters, Mrs. A. J.
Kriete of Prior, Okla., and Mrs. Ray Seally of Greenfield,
Mo.; 10 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. He
was preceded in death by a daughter, Jean Marsing, last
summer, and by two brothers and two sisters.
