Hardy Nystrom
    Graveside services for Hardy P. Nystrom, 86, of Nampa, who died Saturday, Nov. 21, at home, will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Caldwell.
    The Revs. Glenn Schafer and Bruce Petersen of the College Church of the Nazarene, Nampa, will officiate, under the direction of the Alsip Funeral Chapel, Nampa.  Friends may meet at the cemetery.
    Mr. Nystrom was born Feb. 14, 1901, at Steele County, N.D., and was reared and educated in North Dakota.
    He married Louise Werstlein June 11, 1935, in Grand Forks, N.D.  They moved to Salem, Ore., in 1947 and lived there until moving in 1984 to Nampa, where they had since resided.
    He is survived by his wife of Nampa: a son, Richard S. Nystrom of Portland, Ore.; two daughters, Josephine A. Sack of Baltimore, Md., and Karen N. Thomas of Nampa; and several nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
    Memorials may be made to the Mercy Medical Center Hospice Program, 1512 12th Ave. Road, Nampa 83651.
    Friends may call at the Nam-pa Alsip chapel today until 9 p.m. and Tuesday until noon.
