Services for
Henry F. Medina, 71, Caldwell, who died Thursday, Nov. 8, at a Caldwell hospital of
natural causes, will be conducted Tuesday 10:30 a.m. at the
Dakan Funeral Chapel, Caldwell, by the Jehovah's Witnesses
of Caldwell.
Interment will follow at the Hillcrest Memorial
Gardens, Caldwell.
Medina
was born Sept. 18, 1913, at
San Luis,
Colo., the son of Fred and Mary
Vigil Medina. He was
reared in San Luis and had resided in
Colorado for 30 years before moving to
Caldwell
in 1943. He
married Mary Galloes on Jan. 20, 1936, at Monte Vista, Colo.
He had worked in
construction for many years, until his retirement in 1976.
He was a member of
the Jehovah's Witnesses.
He is survived by
his wife of Caldwell; his mother, Mary Medina of Monte
Vista, Colo.; three sons, Ray, James and Leonard, all of
Caldwell; five daughters, Betty Simpliciano, and Connie
Normandine, both of California, Lucy Armenta and Priscilla
Armenta, both of Caldwell, and Marie Atwell, of Salem, Ore.;
23 grandchildren, three brothers and two sisters.
He was preceded
in death by his father and one sister.
Friends may call
at the Chapel Monday from 5 to 9 p.m.
